Any connection to the new Piven flick The Goods?

Once I saw that trailer it immediately reminded me of Bennett and Slasher. Anyone else get that feeling?

i got the same feeling

Jeremy Piven is giving interviews all over the place saying he watched Slasher to give him "inspiration" for his film. So I guess they sampled the Landis film.

I saw The Goods...and outside of the fact The Goods is a slap stick comedy and this is a documentary they both have very similar plots. Like almost identical.
