Will there be a sequel?

I really liked this original piece of movie. Does anybody know if they plan a sequel or a similiar DVD? Was the DVD a financiall success?

I wrote an email to the company that made this (and Rhino studios) but they both said no plans to do a sequel were in the makes. It didn't sell well enough. I wouldn't have even known about it if I hadn't seen the demo dvd in a $2 copy of Wizard.

What a pity...

Its on Netflix thank goodness...

It is too bad, since the premise for the sequel was all set up at the end. The party has the Scourge, Ariadne still wants it. Actually, I'll bet there are several fanfiction sequels right now.

This doesn't surprise me. Rhino studio let the licenses on two series they were doing (GI Joe and Jem) lapse before completing them and their marketing and distribution of those was poor. IMHO the poor sales had more to due with Rhino seeming taking marketing lessons from the long defunct Commodore computer company than with the product itself.

If D&D is serious about making money from these kinds of movies, then they should let another company take care of marketing. I wouldn't be surprised if Rhino got bought out in a few years.

I got five on it!
