There are some interesting jokes, like the coffee clown. But even then, it's quite a condescending joke. The writing is terrible, often breaking the fourth wall for a cheap laugh. Making references to Micheal Winslow's role in the Police Academy series is just trite.
In closing, "AH! How can I take these people seriously?!"
yeah, i did think this was laugh out loud hilarious. seriously though... THE DOG SHOT LASERS OUT OF HIS EYES! i was laughing so hard at that...that is the stupidest thing ever. and the acting!!! oh yeah...was zach wearing mascara?? i sincerely think he was. that one part where they spontaneously burst into spanish...i was laughing my head off at that point! people like me are the only way terrible writers/actors like the ones in this movie dont go bankrupt and become homeless! if you were thought THIS was ridiculously hilarious, watch "karate dog".
shareIn response to warpuck he was definitely wearing thick eye makeup, and I thought this movie was exceptionally hilarious, especially when Craig Ferguson was dancing I had way to much fun watching such a horrible movie. I also loved the punctuation shirts the kid wore and who could forget that memorable catch phrase holy sababa!

I don't know what I think of this movie. I saw it last month while flipping and ended up watching the whole thing. It was trying to be funny in more a parody/satire way but still came off as a usual kids movie. It's probably worth a second watch.

I'll admit I laughed, most of it was at how WTF some of the scenes were. Mike Winslow's career's funeral was held the day this film saw its first release. Also I jokingly said to my one friend who I was watching this with "I bet the microchip will let the dog shoot lasers out his eyes" It was as if the movie read my mind.
