so did the friend rape Connie too?

in the begining of the movie, she has sex with the friend in the car. did she not do that volitionally either?

And what was up with the reaction when they discussed it the next day? He seemed to remember it. So what, did he take advantage of her? or she's maybe kind of slutty....i mean the friend didn't take advantage of her.....why was she willing to do it with the friend, but not Andrew?

Forgive me if that sounds weird. But i was really thrown by the sex in the backseat....it was just...weird....

Unsure why this question seems like a repeat but perhaps someone else asked this yrs ago. Basically she was thrown for a loop when Luster caught her off guard in the bathroom. Recall her crying but perhaps she was too fearful of situation (she allowed herself 2 be in) to say no. But of course even if she said no ~ who besides Luster would have listened 2 her.

um, i wasn't asking about LUSTER, i was asking about the friend in the backseat of the car. you don't even answer my question.

Figured me stating her feelings of Luster as rape would have answered it. She wanted to be w/ her friend (i.e. messing around with him). Only issue they had after the fact was that they were in this man's house whom took advantage of her (i.e. why she and Daniel were later distant).

Been awhile since I seen the beginning (always catch it in middle) but I believe her friend felt at fault for being drugged/out of it while she was being raped.

I believe in the actual case it was said that the drug can make you incapable of speaking, fighting back, ect. even while still conscious. This would explain why she didn't say no and why the friend didn't help her.

I thought you meant Luster's friend. I couldn't figure out why that creep, who apparently was a hanger-on, (it seemed to me the movie took pains not to show him) didn't get busted as well - and who did he mess with? These two guys feed a guy and his gal some drugs, take them to a home and the girl is abused. What about her friend? Was he sexually abused homo-style or just so wiped out that the other two could abuse her with no interference. Maybe that was why her boyfriend didn't want to get involved - too embarrassed if it did happen that way? Sigh, maybe I'm just using too much tinfoil, but I thought that initial pick up was pretty weird.

To me, it just would have been easier to dump the guy on the way out, but maybe they needed him as a cover for the morning after - i.e. "it was all just a dream".

Bradly:

Ye gads, that was four years ago and when I read my post, it was like reading someone else's (fading memory - a 'benefit' of old age :-( )

I don't even have a clue about the movie now - time to download it from YouTube and refresh the memory.

Thanks for jogging my mind.

No I thought it was odd too how they took both of them home after feeding them drugs. I wondered if they messed with her friend also. You would think they would just want the girl.

It was such a creepy scene as they are riding in his Car. It's been a few years since I watched it. That scene stuck out to me They are playing it again which made me click on this topic.
