Very slow and uninteresting
The pace, acting and cinematography feel very stale. Throughout my young adult hood, I'd hear great things about Che and what a incredible person he was.
This movie is basically soldiers sitting around talking about moving from spot to spot, firing their weapons at enemies that are off screen, going from village to village helping the sick. We get no depth into any of them. I know Che and Fidel were both really passionate about their ideals, but we never see them get into it. They make small chat here and there about the revolution, but it's most just shots of guys running around firing their weapons.
I know the budget wasn't that high and I'm sure that most of the money was spent on travel, lodging and paying the actors. But couldn't Soderbergh at least made one of the most fascinating persons in history life's more vibrant and interesting?
