Wow People,It wasn't that bad

I actually found Will Ferrell more annoying in Talledega Nights which has a much higher rating. The problem with this movie is that Kidman and Ferrell had limited chemistry, but they made it work at certain points and overall I walked out of the theater thinking it was worth the money I paid. Kidman was adorable and Ferrell was funny riding that bicycle in the studio lot while throwing in some Old Schooleqse type comedy at certain points.

Could they have gotten a better onscreen couple? Yes

Is this movie horrible? Not by any means.

I thought it was so so,Will Ferrell has done a lot better but it wasn't bad i saw it on tv and it got some laughs out of me. I don't really like it but i wouldn't go so far as to say it's horrible.

There's just too many people out there that think they should be critics so they rate harshly giving there favorite movies 10's and decent movies 3's just because it wasn't ''the movie of the year''.

I unwillingly saw this on DVD last night. I didn't care for it. Oh, I like the music (Las Vegas style).

I will agree that its not the best way to spend 90 minutes. I just have seen much worse at the movies and this movie get a bad wrap.

I remember the original show quite well and its wasn't some comedic masterpiece. The reason the original show series worked so well is that Elizabeth Montgomery was very charming and was able to carry the show through out its changes to color as well as the switching of Darrens. We liked Sam and felt for her on an emotional level and her duality as human and witch. Maybe that is what this film and the producers failed to realize.

I have recently watched this on the TV and was surprised bt how good it was (I'd heard bad things). I was glad it wasn't a straight remake, I thought the twist allowed for some funny moments. Steve Carell as Uncle Arthur was amazing! For ages I thought it was the original but that of course did not make sense. I like a lot of the 'magic' touches, such as Nicole changing aspects of the house she wanted to rent and Michael Caine walking out of a hall that turned out to be a Scenery picture. This illusory touches really made it for me - a straight re-telling would have been flatter. Shirley Maclaine was great too.

My uncle is a big fan of the original series, but I know NOTHING other then the animated intro from the original series...

This movie wasn't RIDICULOUSLY bad, it wasn't good either though...I gave it a 4/10. Kidman was good, Ferrell was "OK", everyone else did what they had to do, but for the most part, pretty forgettable flick.
