The good and the bad

The bad: The movie by itself was pretty poor. No one who hasn't watched the show would like it. Except for a few scenes, it wasn't much funny, and there weren't many original jokes of the quality of the original show.

Hated some of the lines about Darren not being the centre of the show and that nobody noticed that the actor changed. I like Darren's character so much that this seemed like an insult.

The good: I really like the references to the tv show. To anyone who has watched it, it was really nostalgia-inducing. The acting by the main characters was good. I liked Kidman's acting as Samantha and how she really did look similar to her. Her voice was annoying though. Steve Carell's acting as Uncle Arthur was amazing. How he copied him.. wonderful, although it did look a bit odd. Aunt Clara and Gladys did their parts well too.
