I must have watched mre than 50 episodes but I have never seen the contestats win.
A friend of mine claims to have seen them defeat the emerald guard in the Final Showdown and nothing much happend when they won apparently. I don't totally believe him, and I was wondering if anyone else had seen the contestants win????
Ive seen two people win, but for one of them, Craig didnt even mention that they had won, it was so funny!! I just looked at my brother like 'that person's JUST won'!! The other person who won just raised their hands!! Nothing much happened! I thought they would have added a few more fireworks or something, but no!

Yeah, I've seen about two or three winners. I think once one of those times where about 17 people somehow manage to get through 2 people sharing a Dinky Dodgem won, but not certain.
*I* was thrilled to finally see a winner - probably happier than the contestant who is going home, wet, dirty, sore and without even busfare home!

I've seen all 6 winners..including the controversial one where they were crowned losers but then Count Takeshi admitted that there was a hole in his ring (it broke around the edge n you couldn't really see)...the prizes are either money or a car

The prize isn't actually shown, it's a box with a note saying what the prize is inside...the ceremony is shown but the prizes aren't....if you have sky travel try to find Clive James In....Japan as he actually goes on Takeshis Castle and says what the prizes are....he loses both the Honeycomb Maze and Bridge Ball....quite pathetic really

There has only been one winner in the history of Takeshi's Castle. That is to say, only one person has ever gone on to defeat Lord Takeshi himself in the 'laser tag' round. The prize for winning is 1,000,000 Yen.
shareIn my basic knowledge of Japanese there has been quite a lot of winners but no1 really gets the 1st prize. It's usually a cash prize but there have been the odd 1 or 2 where they have won, extreme weekends away snowboaring and the like.
Never heard them win a car b4 tho.

shareI saw a winner on Takeshi's Castle when I watched it on Challenge this morning.. it was a guy in a red and white outfit and Craig Charles just yelled "WE'VE GOT A WINNER!" and the guy was jumping up and down happily and I said "Yay at last!" :)
This has got purple stuff inside, purple is a fruit!
