Hotel same one as in a James Bond movie??!

Does anyone know if the hotel this is filmed at, is the same on that is in the James Bond movie - A Licence To Kill?

I was watching Licence To Kill which was shown on tv here (Australia) the other night, then I caught the first episode of Paradise Hotel that was shown last night, and I recognised the giant fish by the pool, from the closing scenes of Licence To Kill.

If that wasn't enough to convince me, later on in Paradise Hotel, they did an aerial shot which showed the landing above the pool. In the bond movie there was a landing above which Bond jumped off into the pool.

Then looking at both 'filming locations' for both the movie and series, i see it's filmed in Acapulco, Mexico. So I'm guessing that it must be the same one!

Did anyone else notice/know that? Maybe everyone does, but I just thought i'd share my discovery anyhow for trivial purposes!
