En Sang for Martin (A Song for Martin) A Bille August film is one of the best movies I ever saw about any illness no less Alzheimer's.

Bit late, but I recommend Away From Her (2006). Very good acting, affecting story.

Iris, played wonderfully by Judi Dench.

A bad actor can only play himself, but unconvincingly.

Cortex http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0996925/ was a Blockbuster exclusive. Pretty interesting but not amazing or anything.
