Based on the IMDB rating, this film actually rates lower than the first and second films. I've seen IA1 and 2. I was a bit disappointed with 2, should I see 3? Is it worth watching? Thanks. I'd appreciate a response.

I'd say a deffinete "yes".
In terms of style the third film is a lot closer to IA1 than IA2, and the focus is pretty squarely on Ming and Yan.
Be warned that the plot is VERY complex and difficult to follow. However, if you work it all out then it forms a brilliant story.
Once again, the acting, soundtrack and locations are all fantastic. IA3 is often seen as the weakest in the trilogy, but it has some big brothers to look up to and is still VERY worth watching.
Also, IA3 features possibly my favourite character from the whole trilogy; Yeung. Great character, perfectly played by Leon Lai.
