Can The 8 Disc DVD Box Collection Help?

I have watched IA1, 2 and 3 individually, and have no problems following the story of the first two. I am somehow just unable to fully appreciate IA3 for it seems very difficult to understand. Somebody said if you watch the 8 (or whatever no.) Disc DVD Box Collection, you will find it easier to get the story because the trilogy is re-cut into one complete movie, with datelines clearly mentioned on the screen as events unfolded. Has any one seen it, what languages are on it, and does it make the complete story easier to understand? Thanks in advance.

I have bought the 8 DVD set collector's edition.

I didn't watch it, I merely bought it for collection purpose.

I have it. I think the two Trilogy Discs are worth watching only if you have seen part 1. Because the producers did not do a good job on the editing.
When you are watching the Trilogy Discs there will be some spoilers mentioned
in subtitles.
But you will understand the whole Trilogy much better.

SPOILERS...

It doesn't keep the " ___ days/months before Yan's death" subtitles does it???

That's VERY amateur!

reply

There are spoilers so don't watch the Trilogy disc unless you have already
seen Part 1, 2 and 3 seperately.
