anyone else find the therapy session scenes somewhat hilarious?

Tony Leung was awesome at that part of the film

I thought that was great. Here we have a drama movie but in this scene it's unexpectly funny. When he's talking to that doctor and suddenly he has to eat...I laughed. Tony Leung...*sigh*

reply

I did. Tony is great!

reply

if not leon lai I won't watch this.

I'm a fan of the entire IF series and I thought the therapy sessions with Tony Leung was the best part about IF 3. He's a really good actor.

reply

The Therapy sessions were good fillers but nothing more.

The Departed doesn't hold a candle to Infernal Affairs.

i liked most of IA3, but those scenes were a bit too corny for me. i mean, he pulled a giant-sized alarm clock and huge cracker out of some random pocket. wtf?! i also felt they were trying to hard to show a different side of Tony's character, the fun, joker side of him. a bit too over-the-top. though, this IS an HK flick, so i guess that's not too surprising.

reply

he was trying his best not to sleep.

Do you have E-Mail? HAHAHAHA

reply

Comedy gold, the movie was worth watching for those scenes alone if nothing else

I just felt that she was really getting annoyed by him.

Also, about the corny thing, Yan was really focusing not to be hypnotised so that he wouldn't spill the beans, so he just did the most annoying things that would make her efforts in vain.

I laughed really loud when I saw the scene when they started kissing and suddenly he wakes up to find it was a dream haha. At first I was thinking, "Wait, they got together already? No way! He died shortly after confessing his love for her!"

Those were the least 'convincing' scenes in the movie. Come on, she is supposed to be a DOCTOR. And as to Kelly Chen, not the world's greatest actress, is she?.

reply

You get the award for least observant audience member. The clock was already in the office, dunce.

reply

Yeah I thought that was amazing, comedy that actually works in a cop thriller!

reply

They were funny, but corny funny and really added little to the film, until near the end I guess, or his character...I mean if it was meant solely to show his 'funny' side, I think one or two scenes would be enough...

was he just sleeping over there.
