One very silly question:Jonathan Rhys-Myers played mostly parts while being clean shaved, or, who knows, he really lacks facial hair-he has that twink look that is.There are cases of men who don't have very little or no beard gr at all, even in adudlthood.
So is the facial hair from this film for real-i have not seen the film, only the poster and i can't tell.Please help!

It looked real in the movie. He appeared to have no signs of hair along the cheekbone so doubtful he could grow a beard. In one scene he can be seen 'tugging' on it like boys do when they think they are men. Goodnight.

although Jonathan can pull off almost anything, I think he looks much better clean-shaven. The mustache distracts me from his gorgeous lips :( also the facial hair itself looks messy in a bad way.
shareI can't believe I am even replying to this, but I am a major admirer of his, so I did a little research. I checked the internet fairly well, and found the following picture to be the most facial hair he has displayed. But, based on what I have seen, the wonderful Mr. Rhys-Meyers is capable of a full beard, although possibly not a large one. My guess is that the look in the movie was mocked up to make his character look more disheveled. Since I come from a similar ethnic background, I can say that some of the men in my family do tend to have less prominent facial hair than average. Of course, I can not speak for all men of this ethnicity.
