Is this a family movie?
or what?
"No, not next period, Right Now! Right Now! I'll take it right now! I'm ready for the test."

Well the Official Website says this
Target audience: 9 years and up; a film for the whole family and all fantasy lovers!
just watched Strings and it was surprisingly dark in some places, yet horrendously cute in others, so I suppose overall that means it must be a family film, but there are definitely a few scenes that might unsettle some younger viewers...
shareI don't think it really knows if it's a family movie - it's too dark for small children, and too much of a fairy-tale to appeal to adults. It sort of sits between two chairs in that regard.
shareI just saw it yesterday. there are several nude scenes. One puppet watches the "sister" bath and though it isn't explicit, i think he sports wood.
It's a good movie. The Strings as lifelines is a cool concept.
Yes I think this is a family film (for not too young children). Children get more then you think.
I can highly recommend this film, such beautiful scenes, you forget about the characters being puppets after a few minutes. And the symbolic use of strings in different situations is really very cool.

Lol. Somebody spare the children from all this gratuitous filming of wooden dolls.
shareIt is a family film, but young children might find it scary or a little too long in places. It's a very impressive film.
I wish I could kiss her!
