More valid than 300 but horrible screen play
This movie made more sense than 300's Racist/Homosexual Spartans vs Transvestite Persians/Africans but it was flawed in the screenplay that might not be cliche in Qazakhstan but rings very cliche in Western countries.
The story was predictable, the Hispanic actors trying to play Qazakhs was a bad move, and the director needs to go back to school to learn how to inspire emotion in a film. There were lots of missed opportunties to develop the characters and suspense and plug a few plot holes.
Its a good amateur movie but could use more work to fine tune it into a real classic. Nice effort by Kazakh Film, but they need to work harder to challenge the audience.
