hey, im from clonmel, and live about a 2 minute walk from the racetrack where the coursing is held every year!! i was dissappointed that the shots of streets and stuff dont appear to actually be from clonmel. i think some of the shots of the racecourse might actually be from the racecourse, but before it was refurbished, several years ago. does anyone know where it was actually filmed? and why they decided not to film in clonmel? i love the film but the way, it was brilliant!!

Spot on Chelsea - in the scene where they drive into the town, with the banner across the street saying " welcome to clonmel " is looking down th main st of Naas.
There's quite a bit of it filmed in Kildare, Naas, Newbridge and The Curragh.
