What happened to Philippe?

Yeah, definitely suicide because of the note. If he was murdered he would have just been shot as the assassin didn't seem to mind leaving dead bodies around and went into Silvia's apartment with a gun. Cutting his wrists in a bath seemed to push the suicide aspect instead of finding him either hanged or with a gun in his hand. He killed himself because he couldn't tell Silvia about her brother's death and I guess he also felt guilty about escaping the death squad in the beginning. He also kind of hesitated getting out of the jeep and looked extremely nervous which leads me to believe Simon knew he was afraid and left him behind on purpose. He kept bringing up the part about being a coward so it just kind of fits.
