Photo shopped??

Did anyone else notice that the photo he shows her of the rally that she attended years ago, was an obvious cut and paste job? It looked so photo shopped that i laughed and actually paused and rewound it while watching it on TV last night just to check..

reply

100% - it was ridiculous - EVERY SINGLE photo looked so fake it really was laughable. Nevermind the fact that nicole kidman looks photoshopped into the photo's but most of the people just look to be arbitrary head's just stuck into the crowd. In particular the first photo they show of her at a rally listening to the guy talking. Really is very funny, and just so strange that they couldn't do it even vaguely authentically!!!

reply

Totally agree raccyboy. How hard would it be to make it look genuine??!
Thanks for the reply - thought it was just me ;)

I really have to go all the way here to find a thread about that thing I noticed. The photoshopped photo/s' hard to ignore!

reply

When the guy said, "Look closely," (and we looked closely), I expected the response to be, "It's a fake."

Apparently only the audience notices the obvious. What's weird is that they could easily have composed a real scene and then taken a still. Why they instead went with third graders with Microsoft Bob software is a mystery.

every time I hear this american Pronk [see below] of "PhotoShop" [to mean image edit] I just cringe and want to pull out my fingernails

it is just SOOOOOO twee

like the App Photo Shop is not even a professional standard image editor [like PSP]

did you or did you not just use Photo Shop as a verb?

reply

This message is two and a half years old so the poster will probably not read this reply but the poster above is nitpicking. Of course photoshopped is used nowadays as a verb for image editing, and has been incorporated into the common language, and there is nothing wrong with it, just like xeroxed is used today (from the company Xerox's name) to mean photocopied although Xerox is not the only company that makes photocopiers. Languages evolve.

reply

Yea i thought it was obvious but they probably assumed the audience wouldnt bother to care.

reply
