I could see this working with the right cast, maybe... who knows...

honestly, "Lucy" is one of my all time favorite shows and I would hate to see it ruined, but I do think with the right cast they could pull it off

for instance, Amanda Bynes would be my choice to play Lucy, not because of resemblance or anything, but because ever since she came on TV with All That, she has the same showmanship that Lucille Ball had naturally

All black except for Ricky, who would be Japanese. Imagine his catchphrases being spoken in Engrish. "Rucy! I'm home!"
