Do you think the bully deserved to die?

I think he deserved to be killed off by Michael

reply

No one deserves to die, just have the stuffing beat out of them, maybe, if they've earned it and he did. Had he been a better person, he would have lived.

reply

No. At worst, he deserved a beatdown. But I think a spanking or two from his parents would've sufficed.

Anyone here mentions Hotel California dies before the first line clears his lips.

reply

No, I don't think anyone deserves to die no matter how bad of a person they are. I'm sure Michael wasn't the only kid he treated like that and Michael probably saved a lot more kids from being bullied, but maybe someday he would've realized what a scumbag he was and would've changed. I remember him saying something like "if I get one more attention my dad's gonna beat my ass" so it sounds like he may have been taught to be rude and disrespectful at home.

reply

Maybe not death, but a good beating, which is what his parent's should have given him, then maybe he wouldn't be a bully. Cause and effect. It didn't sound like he came from good parenting. Then again, neither did Michael, so who's to say who was more right here? It's really a no win situation. No one deserves to die, but yet no one deserves to be bullied to that point.

He said "detention" not attention

He said "detention" not attention.

No he didn't deserve to die. I think Rob humanized Michael in a good way and he made him more of a modern serial killer like Henry Lee Lucas or Jeffrey Dahmer; they have reasons for killing people and those reasons usually help to show us how fu--ed up they really are.

The bully's death is a good way to show how Michael goes from 1 to 100 in an instant. While most people who get mad would just beat him up...Michael just decides he would rather just kill you.

No. He was a prick sure, but killing seemed way too excessive. A beating would have sufficed, but Michael took it a step too far.

I don't think he deserved to die, but at the same time, I didn't feel a bit sorry for him.

reply

Yes he deserved to die and I hope he burned in hell!

Paraphrasing A Time To Kill....
Sorry.

Rob zombie f'ed up by humanizing Myers. But indeed that bully had it coming.

reply

Somebody had to do it. You can't just have an ambiguous killer any more. Not in the 2000s. People want depth, reasons explanations. Lack thereof works in the 70s, but not now. Better than making a carbon copy of the original.

You must of had bad experiences with bullies. Poor kid.

Don't get hurt kid. I'm not your daddy, I'll beat you senseless.

reply

I'm not the only one. Cyberbullies, real life bullies, all in the news. It's pretty common and harsh now.

Really? Bullies are VERY IMPORTANT in the human experience "food chain" !!! Without bullies, there's NO MORE threats of being bullied and what you have is a future generation of very soft, weak snowflakes who all think that they are transsexual by the 6th grade !!! I met a Latino man from Columbia and he told me that the AVERAGE amount of fights that most boys had were 100-200 fights in high school! He personally had well over 250+...... He definitely was NO snowflake and/or transsexual ! In fact, he was in the marines and then became a successful businessman...... Life is hard and that's how we all grow a backbone!
