THIS MOVIE REALLY PUT ME IN MY PLACE! Anyone else?

After watching this did anyone else feel like they are spoiled, or take things for granted even if just slightly?
and did anyone else notice the grandpa exchange coke(as in cocaine) with the musician they had come to their farm?

Great documentary, kinda made me feel sad but made me happy at the end.

How do we know it was cocaine?

I guess I just assumed by how he snorted it up the old nose highway. I've had an
experience or two but you're right I don't exactly know, just by the footage. My bad, I love you.

Do you feel humbled by this movie?

No need to go that far . A simple will do.
Do you feel humbled by this movie?
Yes.

It's snuff... offered up to guests in the same way a Native American would offer up a pipe.

Then they take them to a club and dance until their ankles start bleeding.

Most people in the world don't have our standard of living. That may be all the better for them.

reply

Definately not cocaine. Mostlikely Snuff, made with camel dung, some herbs and a tad of opium.

After watching the film I felt some envy for the life of the nomads. They have a close family structure and work with their animals using traditional methods of animal husbandry. I know that they lacked certain comforts we/I do take forgranted, but I think they were/are mostly better for not having some of these comforts, e.g. TV and electricity.
