ok well i just got the movie today. i sat down and watched it[had perfect subs too] but i must ask a couple of questions.

1. with all this talk about Amon why did he not show up in the movie[would have kicked ass]
2. why did akira die? i mean i know why but i dont remember him dieing in the OVA.
3. why do people hate this movie[im a fan for devilman my self and i must say this is a good movie/the acting was a bit bad some times tho :P]
4. why did they not set this movie up like the OVAs i think it would have worked. Birth/demon bird/Amon if they did it like that i think it would have been better[atleast is wasn't as bad and Resident Evil 1 and 2]

1. God only knows, my guess would be time.
2. HE dies in the managa
3. IT is nothing like the manga, too much time spent on the drama and not enough on the action, Go Nagi himself is stated to say that he thought this movie was complete crap.
4. I don't know, for the same reson they didnt cast actors in it I guess.

on a side note, as bad as it is, I loved eh cinamotography and the overall feel of the movie. I just watched it again the other night!
