I liked it

The film could have been better i saw clips of extended fights with shirenu the demon bird and a few extras that had been cut out of the film but all in all apart from the fight with shirenu being to short and the subtitles on my copy being terrible i liked the film

please release an english dub version and re cut it to involve the whole fight with shirenu including her death and devilman losing an arm but otherwise it was an awsome film i was not dissapointed

Now I will admit that the film did have poor acting and the plot for such an impacting anime series was pretty much stomped upon yet I can honestly say that I enjoyed it. Realize that if it was made as good as all you guys out there wanted it to be, then it would no longer be a Japanese live action. It would have turned into a Hollywood horrible remake or adaptation. There's only so much they can do with the budgets they have. If you put the flaws aside and simply enjoy the movie for what it is. You will realize that all the prop work, deaths, and even the poor acting, molds into a watchable movie. Its not "Horrible" as some have claimed just simply decent. Then again, when was the last time you saw an amazing live action anime adaptation of anything out there? Personally, I was impressed when they showed the first fight with Devilman. Thats when I realized that this movie went from a C in my mind to a high B. Since upon watching it, I hadn't seen any trailers or anything of it.

I thought it was cool but the cheesy ass american reporter throughout most of the movie was unnecessary. When he sprouted two extra faces as his demon form, I almost lost it. Aside from that, the whole humans killing each other out of paranoia and the post apocalyptic battle at the end were pretty good.

If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever.

Hell, i bought it :)
That said the acting could have been better and the American reporter was just plain annoying, but still a worth-while movie.
