Wow u guys are really pathetic! The reason why its different for white people is that white people have not been oppressed for years by black people. U have no reason to promote "white power" because many white people already feel confident and pride in themselves. Black children need racial pride because they have been reinforced by your ancestors that they are not equal to white people (slaves being 3/5 of a person explains it all). With this beleif getting passed on from generation to generation it began to spark self hatred and disgust.

The black youth realized that being black should not be seen as a bad thing, but that blacks should be proud of themselves. Also, people who have black pride do not wish to be separated or to be kept "pure" from the white race, like these two young girls do.

Here are a few facts to drive that point home...

The population of the united states is about 300,000,000 people of which about 194,000,000 are white. You have to assume that not all of them have access to the internet, but if 'thousands' (1000) are on this forum, yes it is still a small minority.

Firstly let me just say that I'm not responding specifically to the above comment by 'sublimer13' but to all the comments, plus I haven't watched the film but as the discussion left that topic a while ago I will just post about the White issue.

A lot of points have been raised throughout these comments, a lot of which are totally flipant and obviously not researched. Lynx & lamb, although not terribly talented in the music department (but come on, who really is in the pop world now-a-days!), are entitled to their own views...remember your constitution? So saying they should not be allowed to act is pointless, how is that going to address the wider issue? As for saying that their mum 'brainwashed' them, isn't passing your views and standards down to your children what a lot of parents do? For example, don't a lot of children grow up going to church, sunday school, a religious high school, praying every day, believing in Jesus and God and all that simply because it is the environment in which they were raised and in which their parents passed on their own views? You can't decide that one is okay and not the other simply because you deem one morally better than the other as all this is down to personal opinion (dictatorships grow out of such things).

Secondly, White pride is just as valid as Black pride or whatever pride you fancy. Although many people feel that we should simply be proud to be human, gravitating towards tribal pride (those the same as us) is something very deep inside us. For example, I am proud to be a woman, and yes, I may be different from every other woman in the world but I am proud of female achievements and happy to not be a guy. It is the same principle as White pride with the same degrees of pride and hatred; I am simply proud, someone like Andrea Dworkin for example appears to hate. As for saying that proud Whites are totally different from proud Blacks because those who are Black and proud do not entertain thoughts such as the genocide of Whites or notions of seperatism...you are wrong. Of course some proud Blacks are simply proud to be Black (as some Whites are also simply proud to be White) but go to http://media.putfile.com/sfinalsolutionforWhitesCSPAN for a video of the Black supremacist Dr. Kamau Kambon, a professor who taught at North Carolina State University, and believes that the Black man should “exterminate all White people”.

Furthermore, to dismiss the distinctions between White Nationalists, White seperatists, and White Supremacists as "THAT lame attempt to justify your own hypocracy" (The_Almighty_Rasin) and lump every proud White in the White supremacist catagory simply shows that the media has given to much attention to extemists and too little to others within the movement. By the way, a White Nationalist is someone who believes that in order to create a kindred spirit, strength, and common understanding in the modern world, groups should be unified through similarities in culture, religion, language, and shared heritage but not seperated by them. A White separatist is someone who believes that the White community, or any racial community, should be totally separated from other groups in order to maintain its unique traditions, language, religion, and culture. Then finally a White supremacist is someone who believes that the White race is superior to other races, actually a relatively small section of the movement. Plus, reeling off a list of Black or Jewish inventions is beside the point, it is obvious to even the strongest White supremacist that other races invented everyday items which they probably own, using or not using such items is not the point of racial pride or supremacy.

Finally, saying things like everyone should be equal is very idealistic. How exactly do you propose this? Give both men and women pregnancy leave and maternity benefits because that's fair and equal? Allow all ages to buy liquor because otherwise you're depriving 5 yr olds of their rights? Stupid examples I know but some distinctions need to be made to benefit society...we all remember Affirmative Action (though mentioning that might start another debate!). And comments like all Nazis should go back to Germany if they like it so much is rather odd to say the least. Modern day Nazis do not affiliate themselves with Germany as a whole but rather with the beliefs of the Nazi party, too many people seem to forget that German does not equal Nazi! Plus, saying things to neo-Nazis like "Bottom line: LEAVE AMERICA, BECAUSE YOUR CRAP IS NOT TOLERATED HERE AT ALL!" (Sublimer13) is misguided. I think you will find that these views are in fact widely tolerated in America, even if not by law.

Seem to have gone on a bit here but I hate to see a debate go by with largely flipant comments. Do a bit of research first so you can back up your arguements if you want to get involved, personal opinion is fine but you can't just throw slander back and forth!

Here in Germany most people aren´t in favor of nazism. Unfortunatley, we have three national parties, one of them very close to the former nazi party but these parties have not many voters.
