The show was getting more silly and less Huey driven, and more about Riley and Granddad . I wish he would have fought harder for his show but he sold over rights. And Adult swim killed it!

IF you read his interviews in his book "All the Rage", you'll see that he clearly lost all interest in it almost before the series even began. I might be wrong in this assumption, but he almost came off as lazy. I suppose Black Jesus was so much easier.
shareAaron is weird. He comes off as temperamental and probably not very reliable. It's a shame because Boondocks was arguably the best cartoon of the past 10-20 years, and deserved to have the same life as a The Simpsons, a South Park or a Family Guy...and probably would have, if he hadn't been so petulant and moody. I think if it were up to Sony and AS, the show would still be on the air. Seems he wanted the show to end. I just don't get walking away from something while there's still huge demand for it.
