I really loved Kiss Kiss Bang Bang... the teaming of Robert Downey, Jr. and Val Kilmer was perfect.... a wonderful directorial debut for a wonderful screenwriter.

Nobody does hard boiled comic detective buddy stories better than Shane Black... The Last Boy Scout, Lethal Weapon, The Long Kiss Goodnight...

...and I can't wait for The Nice Guys... from the looks of the trailer it will turn out to be one of my favorite films of 2016.

I agree, and now that it's been released, The Nice Guys did turn out to be great. I still wish they could have got the financing to do a proper sequel to Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, butt now that the nice guys has come out, and essentially seemed to serve the purpose of a spiritual sequel but with a cast xcetera that the studio would Finance, I think the chances of that are slim to none unfortunately
