I'm just curious for anyone who has read the book...Did Lanny not like lobster his entire life because of his religion...or was it because of what happened to Maureen that caused his disgust of lobster at the Chinese Restaurant? Just thought it was kind of weird because he obviously eats pork.

Thanks for this...i was so confused as to why they made such a big deal about it (like / then dislike). I didnt know Jewish people couldnt eat shellfish, either.
Confusing. I hate it when they try to make the 'narrator' SO smart they leave out the chance of the audience being smart and gloss over major turning points.
According to God (at least what he says in Leviticus) two men having sex and eating shellfish are both"abominations" so Vince is in big trouble
