What's the big deal with Nick Cannon?

Nick Cannon seems another no-talent (ala Vin Diesel), who somehow happened to reach high popularity. I mean, he started on Nickelodeon for Pete's sake! How many talented people can you name who started on that network? You pretty much just need a pulse to have a show on Nickelodeon. I don't get it. Cannon has absolutely no talent when it comes to comic timing. When he makes a joke, he hams it up like crazy, basically telling the audience, "Come on, laugh at me! Don't you think I'm funny?" Hopefully, his 15 minutes of fame are almost up, and in two years, he'll be doing some reality show on VH1.

Sometimes you've just got to take someone for who they are. Nick Cannon is young, handsome and makes people laugh. I'm not saying he's a great actor, but I like the way he looks on screen. Some people are simply charming.
Try to watch his Wild N' Out on MTV.

Wild N' Out may be the single worst show on television...ever, and those who like it have a shallow and corny sense of humor. I feel embarrassed for the people on the show. The humor is comparable to Bob Saget's monologues on American Funniest Home Videos.

lol wildin' out makes me lololololol on a lame scale it scores a 7.5 out of a 10. can't believe he's decided to make lame movies. don't get me wrong though, im not a nick canon hater... i oddly liked him in drumline too (despite the poor reviews/ratings its gotten).

zing! on Bob Saget. his jokes on that show were absolutely corny. i see the same stuff right now on Animal Planet Network's tv show, "America's Funniest Animals". all these 'goof' shows have terrible banter talk, especially when they try to insert jokes within the video clips. no one gives a flying *beep* about them, as they are just wasting space and time!

just imagine if you were watching the funny clips at home, and you have an annoying friend trying to introduce them with corny lines, but you can't turn him off ! offtopic i know

OH PLEASE! AFHV WAS NOTHING LIKE WILD N OUT. If u dont like u DONT have a sense of humor and may be slow enough not to get the jokes. That is a funny show. Its just like the Drew Carey show. The boy is still making money while most of us is broke even if ppl think its corny. He's cute, funny, and has a great smile and he is a good actor. Regardless of how he got his start or where hes still doing his thang!

Just personally, I think Josh from "Josh and Drake" has a future. Go rent "Mean Creek" and see if you agree. And Keenan Thompson' doing pretty well on "SNL." Don't hate on Nick...Nickelodeon that is.
