These movies make Black people seem dumb.

Why is it that the only cop in this movie who acts like a goof is black? Why couldn't Nick Cannon play a intelligent cop, instead of some annoying innercity stereotypical black man? Why is he the only one who has no class and talks like a moron?

I can't get why black people still make movies that portrsy their race as ignorant, dumb, and annoying? What all Black people talk ghetto? I hate when black people always get dumbed down in movies.

Will Smith is the only brother who has been able to evolve from his fresh prince of bel air character, to someone who is now respectable.

I am a Black man so I should weigh in on this. Cannon has made a career out of acting like a stereotypical Black man on his Wildin' Out TV Show, Underclassman, All That, parts of Drumline, his music videos, etc. And its getting on my damn nerves.

People watch BET Comicview, movies like Underclassmen, etc. and think all Black act like that. I know I don't. I love being educated and a square and not being a Black stereotype. It feels so good!

Namsu22 Underclassmen is not just a movie, its deeper than that. Cannon will be 30 years old by the end of this decade and he acts like he's 15 over and over again.

I think you're overreacting just a tad. It's not all that serious an issue, because I, even though I am not black, know that all black people don't talk that way. I don't think the ones who don't talk the way Nick Cannon does in this movie are "sellouts" either. When he becomes a director full time and isn't acting anymore, I'm sure he'll talk more in an educated manner. I haven't seen him interviewed, but I would hope he doesn't use a ton of slang when he's being interviewed...but that's his prerogative if he does. He's making the money. We're not. We're paying his salary by buying his movies. I don't mind it myself. I know he's not a stupid person, because he knows how to do things to make money. In his case, it's called talent.

No. In this case it's selling out. It would actually be better if he was truly incapable of acting intelligently.

See, I am not Black, but I know many who can't stand when their race is dumb downed in movies, and it even annoys me.

Most of my friends are latino, and I could even say the samething in regards to their race being dumb downed in movies.

Though, I think it's MTV and BET who are to blame here.

Black people make movies that portray their race as dumb? Who made this movie?This movie was made by Miramax. People that blame an entire race for movies made by some old,rich jews in Hollywood are dumbasses.

One moron dosent rep an entire race, least of all Nick Cannon and especially not this dumbass movie.

When theres no more room in Hollywood, remakes shall walk the Earth.
