This movie had an incredibly powerful emotional affect on me, nothing like any other TV Show or Movie has ever had.

I don't know what exactly makes this movie so special in this way, or why it connected with me like it did, but I'm interested to know whether this has happened to anyone else and if so if there are any other movies which project the feel that this does?

i felt the same way, if you havent seen dangerous lives of altar boys or alpha dog, those both give the same effect...or at least they did to me lol. other movies i felt the same way with were brokeback mountain ghost world and the dreamers... those are just a few lol.
