remember beating up tim? i mean, when matt saw tim's bruises he said "did i do that?". Is he like blinded by his rage somehow during the beating and thatfor doesn't remember it or is it just that he wants to know if they are just some random bruises or the bruises he caused?

sharei also think that's why he asked tim that in a strange demeanor..and i think he is sorta lookin for an out, and trying to get tim to cave and help him...that scene makes me weak to watch...reallly heartfelt

Yeah but the scene was awkward to watch. He just asked if he had done all the horrible bruises to her brother, annoying. Tim was like black and blue! It was a weird call of help, I understood Tim when he didn't feel that sorry after his brother died.
The family was weird in many respects. Stupid way to handle things, I hope there's no familiy with _all_ of those problems. Everyone smokes pot, daddy's grief over a dead son leads him to quit working, a son is not a son... Ignorant in a way, too.
Matt almost appears to feel proud of what he did. Or then he does not, I just got that feeling. Everyone who has a little sis or brother should understand the ugly fact that what Matt did was pitiful and unacceptable.
