The original poem that sounds suspiciously like Alive.

What was with that? I'm referring to the "is something wrong she said, of course there is....." poem.

What was up with that? Kind of weird. I mean, obviously it wasn't(original), and I can't imagine they were trying to make anyone think it was, but why was that line used?

Oh, but I really liked this movie. Had some good aspects.

Probably to show just how sad that girl Mandy Matthews was. She was one of those kids who was probably so frustrated by her own inability to say anything worthwhile that she had to kill herself, and inevitably her lyrics from Pearl Jam would be misinterpreted for original material. Teenagers do that.

That, or the director is just a Pearl Jam fan.

Hm. Good explanation.

on the commentary Dan Harris said it was the lyrics from pearl jam, and that the PJ fans would notice it and appriecate it, otherwise to pple who didnt know the song, it was just a poem supposedly written by the girl

it is alive and the girl who committed suicide knows it and so does tim. However, she has tricked her friend the principal, and the rest of the student body.
this is fact because i am a loser and i watch commentaries.

it was supposed to be funny, the mellowdrama surrounding the student reading out an "original poem" by the dead kid and tim is the only one who realizes its actually lyrics from a band the kid liked.
