The bit where the bald guy says no offense but you did a piss poor job designing it or something like that. Then he says the reason is that the power supply is down inside a tube or something making it difficult to defuse.

That makes it WELL designed as disarming a bomb isn't really a design priority is it? It's made to intimidate like the cold war *beep* in the USA, or to blow things up.
