Guns Don't Work On Supernatural Beings!!!
I wanted to scream this at the characters so badly, if it doesn't kill him on the 80 millionth try it's not going to work, idiotic.

shareOh, I think they worked alright. Otherwise why would Skeleton Man keep running away and disappearing? If they had no effect he would have just quickly slaughtered them all and taken the angry skull of Indian chief back home.
I bet those 80 million rounds they fired got stuck in his garbage bag cape, so he kept zonking out to the netherworld to get a fresh one. That would explain why his cape is damaged in one scene but untouched in the next. Either that or extraordinarily bad editing, but most likely the zonking out thing. But at the end he got tricked into going into the reactor for the chemical plant that was located in the middle of a forest for some reason. Some of the bullets were still stuck in his cape from his last encounter, and that reacted with whatever Michael Rooker did with the randomly flipping switches on and off then shooting the panel with a gun, and it caused him to exploded into a million pieces of he's still alive and riding his horse but no longer tracking down Rooker and his team of underwater demolition experts. If I got blown into a million pieces of that I'd stay away from those guys too.
Aha! Somebody else saw that "rewind!" (The only cool part of the whole movie; almost made it worth sitting through.)
All the reviews here - at least, the ten or so I read; they were pretty funny - talk about SM/CMJ being destroyed in the end. I can't say I blamed their authors for tuning out the instant the credits rolled. Only reason I saw that final bit was because I was staring at the screen, frozen, having been stunned by how truly awful the "end" was!
