I like begins

Ditto! "BB" will always be the best IMO; sans him looking into Joker! Cannon had him creating the clown prince of crime!  

I liked The Dark Knight better, but I liked both.

I prefer Batman Begins, but then I never liked the Joker.

I think I prefer Batman Begins. I think it's got a tighter plot without going off into the twisty, ouroboric schemes of the Joker. The tighter plot and better atmosphere and tone sell me on Begins. Begins also gets points for never making Batman use the Batman voice in a ridiculous context.

That said, The Dark Knight has an amazing performance by Ledger and a much better Rachel Dawes in Gyllenhaal. But I still give the edge to Batman Begins.

Both are a 10/10 for me. TDK is probably the superior movie with its themes and storytelling and Joker is a more compelling foe than Ras Al Ghul. But yet I enjoy Begins more for its focus on his origin, the dynamics between him and Alfred and Rachel, and I actually like the "decaying city" version of Gotham better than in TDK.

01) The Dark Knight Rises
02) The Dark Knight
03) Batman Begins

Very, very close. BB was a great origin story and had Liam Neeson, who is a favorite of mine. TDK had Ledger's epic Joker performance.

I would give TDK a slight edge, like 9.5/10 for TDK vs 9/10 for BB.

TDKR is way below both, 7.5/10.

TDKR is way below both, but more like 5/10.
