That would've been so much better. And scarier. Surprised he doesn't have a doppelganger villain called Dragon Man, with various dragon gadgets. Kane kinda dropped the ball on that one. Maybe they could evolve Joker i to that. Make him Bats' physical superior.

May disagree with you here, only because dragons are fictional. That, and bats scare the ---- out of me too!

Puttting aside the character’s origins and history, all the bat symbolism & imagery in Batman Begins is haunting, mesmerizing and exceedingly well-done. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

And sure, “Dragon Man” doesn’t sound any sillier than a man dressed as a Bat. Fortunately Batman proved to be an intimidating and interesting character.
