Did this freak anyone else out?

This is my least favourite Animatrix episode, it's really freaky

The Osiris episode was my favorite, since it was the prelogue to Reloaded. Also, the animation built on the Final Fantasy movie, adding better skin tone and imperfections. I can't wait to see the next CGI movie this team puts out...

But since Osiris was meant to be the prelogue, I don't really count it as being part of the Animatrix. Matriculated was the best animated of the rest. Except for the two Renaissance episodes, which were like documentaries, most of the other episodes took place solely inside the machines' Matrix. Matriculated was the only one to begin and end in the real world.

I agree that the colorful simulated Matrix the rebels created was too weird, and I guess the point of it was that the rebels wanted to convince the smart runner that the rebels were his friends trying to rescue him from the Machine Matrix (aka the real world). But the beginning and end of this episode were most like the Matrix world, to me, so this was my favorite...

I liked MTV and Peter Chung's AEon Flux, too, but that also went a little too psychedelic sometimes. The fist thing I thought was that Alexa looked a lot like Aeon Flux...

This short was the best of the Animatrix shorts. It got a little too psychedelic at times, I admit, but I actually liked that.

I'm looking for Halo PC challengers. If anyone is interested, PM me.

*******SPOILER*************

I loved the psychedelic imagery, but the end man, the end. It was so amazingly depressing. The way the sentinel just didn't know what to do as the rebels and machines alike were being killed, then how the machine tried to plug the girl and himself back into the matrix. So sad.

I really liked the whole alternate take on the Matrix universe (possibly intended to be a past version). The machines' designs very cool in this one, and I love the idea of making friends with them. (They're always so cute!) The story they went with is pretty messed up, but I've learned to expect that by now.

(I didn't see anything Matrix until two years ago, and I've only just bought The Animatrix.)
