Her sister

Having just seen this again, I really really hated her sister....and the way Amy consistently tried to hurt or belittle Kat. From taking her drink and making her push it towards her in front of Nick....to insulting Woody and embarrassing Kat...to insinuating that Nick told her about Jeffrey when it was obvious that Jeffrey was the one walking out with her, and even TJ knew he'd been the one who told her...and of course the big one...her sleeping with Kat's fiancée while she was actually still engaged to him....grrrrrr. People like that are so hateful and can't think of anyone besides themselves. And, sadly, it appears that she learned the behavior from her mom, who had so little regard for Kat that she embarrassed her intentionally in front of a room full of her family and friends. I felt pretty badly for Kat, and was in disbelief that she seemed to let Amy off the hook after one night. I didn't feel the least bit sorry for Amy when Ed took off after Jeffrey, in essence defending Kat. I must say I liked him a bit more at that point, but was sad again when he went ahead and married her. Amy should have had to face the consequences of everything she'd done and said to Kat, but it wouldn't have been a feel good movie then. Sigh.

"when did it become acceptable to be so hateful to everyone?" This is a signature line 😳

I'm watching it now on Free Form (formerly ABC Family) and couldn't agree more. I wanted to reach into the tv and strangle her ass.

I honestly didn't understand how Kat didn't cut her out of her life.

I agree with you both. I can't imagine having a sibling like this, but know they exist. Awful!

I know, right?! What was the point of the mother bringing that up?! That was so completely unnecessary! That part really pissed me off.
