Great movie, great soundtrack! Erika Baduah rocked

And it really made me feel like i was in New York in the 70's....I cried my eyes out.....Especially when (spoiler alert) Tea Leoni dies and Tommy keeps seeing her in the apartment....and when he runs to Mellissa's and she doesnt want to see him.......why didnt she want to see him?????

I agree with you, this is a great film that when you mention it to others they look at you and always say, never heard of it. I loved the acting, screenplay and direction. David Duchovny should write and direct more films in the future. House of D was made on a low budget, but it hit all the marks for me. Really is sad when these kind of films don't get noticed and get the recognition that they deserve.

Could not have said it better myself Balboa76...It made me cry, I mean really cry and Its rare a film these days doesnt make me fall asleep let alone make me weep...I felt so sorry for this kid and his mother...and his "special" friend...His first crush on a girl...everything...I agree that David D should direct/write more...Do you think "House of D" is somewhat biographical for him? I mean, he would have grown up around that time....

Yes I do think House of D is biographical for David D, check out the commentary track he did, and the making of the film on the special features section of the dvd, it well answer all your questions.
