Wept like a child.

I am so glad that I didn't see this in the theatre like I had original planned.

I seriously enjoyed this film. It was a bit slow at first, but the acting was fantastic, and it was just...heartwarming.

I know a lot of people on these boards are nitpicking over parts of the movie, but the movie made me feel deeply - and, any movie that makes me feel deeply is a good movie in my book.

Good stuff, Mr. Duchovny.

I never even heard if it or knew of it when it was in the theaters. Yes I have some emotional moments and tears in this movie.
I wouold ssy that my most emotionally devistating movie is still "The Cure" with Brad Renfro and Joseph Mazzello. It has been criticised by some as too emotionally manipulating, but it is a beautiful coming of age, story of friendship movies. Check it out if you havnt already.

So true. And Anton did great.

Just watched HoD again tonight and i still say this film got a bad rap. It was really a wonderful little film. David should be proud of it even if the critics trounced it into the ground. It was hell of a lot better then some of the shi* out there that makes millions.

So did I. Not ashamed to admit it. A very moving portrayal of a boy who faced some very daunting challenges.

Anton and Robin were superb. And excellent direction, David.

The ending was magnifique!
