I know the festival occurred during the summer of 1970. What I want is the specific dates and I can't seem to find them anywhere.

It seems to be the first week of July of 1970. Seek the dates 7/1/70 and 7/3/70 for more information regarding the GD performances from those days.

The prices ranged from 9 to 12 dollars with free loaders moaning about the cost and making threats. They probably spent that much on booze and drugs. The promoters lost several hundred thousand dollars.
