Not as good as I remembered

When this movie came on TV today I thought "Sure, I'll watch it. I remember it was really funny!"

And it was still funny for sure, but a lot more *beep* cheesy than I recalled too. It just got too damn schmaltzy in the last half hour! The arguments, we've all seen it. The "separation", we've all seen it. This movie could all through have been a very good satire if it wasn't for the last act. Anyone else agrees?
