How did they know it was Percy's fault?

When Percy and Simon showed up at Marilyn's sister's house and tried to win the girls back, Percy stole what Simon was going to say.

I get that but when Simon says the lyrics to that song and then they leave to go out front, how did all the girls know that Percy told him to say that? I feel like they all knew it was him immediately...
