"Guess whos coming to dinner" was NOT a comedy

that was more a drama especially since back then it was UNTHINKABLE to see 2 races falling in love. it had an important statement for the time. this movie, I wouldn't even call it a remake, just simply taking the concept and turning it into a goofball comedy. lame!
