Just a thought

The thing I find the strangest about the Bourne films is that when he is on the run or in hiding he doesn't do anything to alter his appearance. In the first film he chops off and dyes Marie's hair, but doesn't change his at all or even really try to dress differently. If it were me I would probably grow out a beard or don a wig, but perhaps the creative team behind the films felt that kind of thing is too old fashioned or cliched.
