She was hysterical as Dottie the mother from Texas! I wish she would have had more scenes because she is so sweet and funny.

I thought her named seemed familiar--I remember her as the mother in "A Christmas Story" back in the '80s.

She was great in an Oscar nominated performance in Spielberg's "Close Encounters of the Third Kind".
