Under-appreciated hilarious movie

I'm straight, but I thought it was funny was hell. It's a worthy entry in the subgenre of gross-out rom coms that includes Something About Mary, Say It Isn't So, The Sweetest Thing, and the 40-Year-Old Virgin. The 80s opening scene gave me flashbacks to my death rock days. Kattan and Posey are a riot. So was the unlucky family. It's a shame that it isn't better known.
