Top Spots and Spencer loves Jesus

** The Balamory casts' top Mull spots:

Julie Wilson Nimmo (Miss Hoolie): "I like to go to Calgary Beach to collect my thoughts,"

Andrew Agnew (PC Plum): "I go to Glengorm Castle to admire the views of the sea."

Juliet Cadzow (Edie McCredie): "Because I drive my bus around all day, I like to go running around Aros Park and take the opportunity to get fit, as well as see some fabulous wildlife. I also like to drive up and down to the South of the island to look over to the island of Iona. I also frequently visit my friends, Colin and Jane Tindall at Tiroran House Hotel."

Miles Jupp (Archie the Inventor): "I like climbing hills and looking at lovely views...and enjoying the local hospitality/hostelries."
Rodd Christensen (Spencer the Painter): "I''''m into photography, and it''''s so picturesque, so that''''s what I like to do. There''''s also some terrific seafood in the restaurants too."

Buki Akib (Josie Jump): "I love eating and hanging out together, especially when it comes to taking part in the local karaoke."

Mary Riggans (Suzie Sweet) "I love the ferry ride over to Craignure. Mull is such a beautiful island to be on. You can stand at the pier and watch the big boat coming in. It''''s like a tropical island on a beautiful day. And the folk are so friendly."

Kim Tserkezie (Penny Pocket): "I love the beautiful scenery and the
Shops are fab, there''''s some gorgeous delis to drool over."

*** SPENCER LOVES JESUS SHOCK
http://www.freedomministries.org.uk/ccm/roddmarc.shtml

Rodd Christensen and Marco Palmer are a Christian "comedy" duo originally from the United States, but now living on the East coast of Scotland.

While in the US they were involved in drama ministry, but decided to relocate in the UK some four years ago due to the greater opportunities which exist here for spreading the Gospel in schools....

Rodd and Marco’s ministry seems to mix the message of Christ with images of worldliness that the believer should be distancing him/herself from daily, eg. Rock Music, MTV etc. Paul instructs us in Galatians 5:1 that we are to "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage".

Our main concern for the mission in Ballymena is how the message of Christ will be presented, and what perception of the Gospel those attending will have as a result. What about those unsaved young people, seeking to be free from the bondage of Rock music, MTV, Queen, Fresh Prince etc? How will they react when they come to the mission seeking freedom only to find that Christians are involved in the very things they long to be delivered from?

What about those young Christians, seeking to serve the Lord with reverence and godly fear, how will they be affected when they come into contact with images they left behind when they came to Christ, and which they are seeking to rid from their lives day by day? Such a "multi-media" event may attract young people, but will it encourage them to grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ?
