Blizzard needs to....

Create an expansion to The Frozen Throne... like The Frozen Throne part 2

I don't know, to me TFT ended with a lot of things unfinished, like Slyvanas for instance, wasn't she trying to kill Arthas? What happened to her? Maiev was trying to kill Illidan, I know she was killed, but she kept reincarnating herself, so obviously she is still alive. And that fight scene, with Arthas and Illidan, it doesn't actually show Illidan dead, so is he still alive or what? And now that Arthas is "one with the lich king", where does that lead? And Vashj and Kael, what happens to them? And what about the demon that kept telling Illidan to destroy the lich kings frozen throne, now that Arthas is apart of the lich king, what happens to the demon?

Did I miss something, or does it seem like TFT just ended in a cliff-hanger. I was suprised when Arthas was sitting on the throne, and then it just ends. It left a lot of things unexplained. When I played Reign of Chaos, I knew what exactly was going on. I just wish they would make a 2nd game, explaining what happens to everyone, and if Arthas is now the "Lich king" what new evil arises.

I also wish they would because I LOVE warcraft, and when I was through with Reign of Chaos, I was so glad to hear that there was another game, but dissapointed in the ending. :(

And if anyone can correct/help me or answer my questions, please do.

Not to mention Kel'Thuzad. What the hell was he doing while Sylvannis and the dreadlords were fighting over Lordaeron?

But nah it needs a cliffhanger ending to use for when they make Warcraft 4. Same with Starcraft, the original ended well but Broodwar just messed everything up. I didn't like alot of the story in Broodwar, mostly cos Kerrigan annoyed the hell outa me but thats another story...

So wait for Warcraft 4 and Starcraft 2, and hopefully some stuff will be solved. :)

Really? They are actually making a warcraft 4? God I hope so, I will so definitely look forward to it if they are.

The storyline does continue and they called it World of Warcraft. In the upcoming expansion new zones are opened up and, according to what I have read, Northrend is one of these new zones so in effect the story of Arthas will continue.

As for the ending of TFT I always looked at it as a "cliffhanger.. but..." sort of vibe. By that I mean the Lich King and Arthas are now one. The hole that was seeping the power has been plugged and the Lich King now needs to replenish his power and this I believe is where Bliz will pick up the Arthas story in WoW. I also think by the title of the new expansion pack (Burning Crusade) is refferring to an army Arthas/Lich has formed to rival the days of power enjoyed by the scourge.

Blizzard has said on the official expansion website that the expansion will not include Northrend, the title "the Burning Crusade" refers to the dark portal in Blasted Lands being opened up, the progression from 60-70 will commence within the orc homeland of Outland complete with new instances and flying mounts (Outland only).

The leader of the humans is like Jaina Proudmore, she's done a lot of crazy things for the Alliance.

reply

No, Jaina only leads a small group of the Human faction in Azeroth.
The supreme leader is just a kid.

To respond to the first post, Sylvannas is now the leader of the undead race as the banshee queen. Notice whenever you click on an undead NPC they'll sometimes say "Victory...for Sylvannas." She stands with Varimathras inside Undercity.

i found a campaign of what a person thinks what happens after the last cinema its not blizzard made but its pretty good try it http://www.wc3sear.ch/index.php?p=Maps&ID=3684&sid=

here is everything slyvanas rules undercity with her slave V. Kel'thuzad just disappeared but is now in the dungeon naxxaramas, at the end it says Illidan, Kael, and Vashj retreat back to outland in disgrace, Jaina controls theramore isle off of kalimador near thrall and that's it anymore questions?

what Illidan is currently doing(said by Malfurion)

Cenarius fights at my side. Illidan sits atop his throne in Outland – brooding. I'm afraid that the loss to Arthas proved to be his breaking point. Madness has embraced him, Remulos. He replays the events in his mind a thousand times per day, but in his mind, he is the victor and Arthas is utterly defeated. He is too far gone, old friend. I fear that the time may soon come that our bond is tested and it will not be as it was at the Well in Zin-Azshari.

Huh? I thought tFT ended well. The whole point to the plot was Illidan and Arthas racing to the Frozen Throne... and that was resolved. Arthas won.

reply

Not the undead race, only the forsaken.

Really sad that WoW has left WC4 with the mutilated corpse of a once great lore, oh well :(
